The Band Members
Pat Loving
Pat is our Lead Guitarist, Banjo, and Bass Player.
Pat Loving is also our lead male vocalist
He has More Years of experience than we care to mention.
Some rumor that Pat played banjo for Jeb Stewart. I am not sure he has been around that long but he is good.
Just Don't ask him to play the fiddle> PLEASE!!!!!!
Vivian Loving
Vivian plays the Dobro® As well as being our lead female vocalist.
She has been involved in vocal music for many years in Church services in the Muskogee area.
Vivian has one of the Strongest voices in the band
She is married to Pat Loving.
Sam McDaniel
Sam plays the Stand up Bass as well as guitar. Sam has the Most expensive Guitar in the band, a Martin® to be exact. The Guitar sounds great, not too sure about Sam though. Sam is known as our 3 joke wonder. He is working hard at being able to tell 4 jokes in a row with out blowing the punch line.
He does not have as many years experience as Pat does but I hear he did play at Teddy Roosevelt's Inauguration
This May be just a rumor.
Sam is our Tenor Vocalist.
Carol McDaniel
Carol Plays the Mandolin. She is of the old school that practice makes perfect.
Carol is also one of our female vocal harmonies.
And has the best attitude of any of the band members.
Carol is Married To Sam as well as being Judy Johnson's Sister
Glen Johnson
Glen plays the Fiddle, Guitar, Harmonica and almost anything he picks up.
Glen is a master when it come to play instruments. Although as most talented musicians he is his own worst critic.
Judy Johnson
Judy plays the Autoharp. She is quiet and reserved but quite talented.
Judy is married to Glen and is the Sister of Carol.
Judy tends to underestimate her own talents and her contribution to the band.
Judy is another of our female vocal harmonies.
Lloyd Mendenhall
I play backup Guitar. I also play mandolin and I am trying to learn the harmonica as well as the Dobro®
I sing or at least try to sing the male bass line.
I am also one of the youngest in the band as well as the best looking.
Modesty forbids me from saying just how good I am at guitar and singing.
In all reality it is a pleasure playing with this band.
I am also the web master of this site, but I am not one to brag.
Gil Mayo
Gil is the Twist in this Bluegrass band. He is our Drummer. Yes! I did say Drummer.
Gil is a retired Washington D.C. police officer.
I hear he played drums for none other than Grover Cleveland.
Joyce Mayo
Joyce is our Sound person. She makes us sound good. Of Course if we sound Bad it is her fault also.
She rounds out our female harmony.
She is married to Gil and helps keep him in line. That is no small feat.
Larry Watts
Larry is our MIA player. It was Larry that introduced me to this band and I thank him for that.
Larry Plays the Guitar, Bass and 12 string Guitar.
Larry has been MIA for a while but he is missed.
